My name is Rachel Davis. I am going on my 9th year as the Director of Kids Cove. I have had over 10 years of teaching experience with Early Childhood as well as Elementary age students. I currently hold my Specialist degree and certification in Early Childhood Education with a focus on curriculum development.
I am blessed to have an amazing husband, three beautiful children, Bella who is 13 and Gabe who is 8, Hannah, who just turned 2 and my two beautiful step daughters, 10 and 6, I love love love working with children and have become very passionate about leading teachers to become better educators within early childhood education. In addition to directing the preschool, I am also the Cross Kids Children's Director here at The Cross Loganville. I have attended the church for 11 years and I am going on my 7th year as children's director. It is my goal to provide a safe, exciting, academic, and faith-based environment for all children within the preschool. I believe that learning should not only be fun but purposeful no matter what is being taught. I am honored to have the opportunity to pour into these children, the teachers, and the families each and every day. |
My name is Amber Cohran. I am a wife of 18 years and a mother to a daughter who is living her best life on her own in Grayson, a son who just graduated from Japer Charter School and is attending the Heavy Equipment College of America and a 9th grader who attends The Bridge of Georgia Private School.
I went to a private Christian school my entire education, graduating from Covenant Christian Academy and love to spend my free days in the sunshine! I have been with Kids Cove Preschool for over 12 years. I have been a teacher for over 15 years, ranging from Pre-K Prep to 1st grade. I was formally the prek and kindergarten teacher here at Kids Cove. This will be my 5th year stepping into a director role and it has been amazing. I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to work with such an awesome team! I believe the most important foundation of education begins in the early years of a child. Preschool is so important developing the love of learning as well as approach the different milestones in every child's life in a fun, exciting and engaging way! |

I’m Mary Calderhead. I’m the administrative assistant to Rachel and Amber, as well as for the Children’s Ministry at The Cross.
My husband and I have been married for 23 years, we have three amazing children, and we have attended The Cross Loganville for the past 10 years. This is my 7th year at Kids Cove Preschool. I taught the MMO class for 6 years, and I’m very excited to be joining our administration as their assistant!

My name is Brittany Peddlar. I am a lover of Jesus, wife to Robert, and mama of four. I am originally from New York and have called Loganville home for the last 5 years. I have had over eight years of experience as a speech therapist, and have worked with clients through the lifespan (6 months-90s). My favorite things to do are spending time with my family, writing, reading fiction, and playing board games!

My name is Sonya Shea, I have been married for over 34 years, and have 2 daughters and 3 beautiful granddaughters and our 1st baby boy in the family! My oldest is a special education teacher and my youngest daughter and her husband are enjoying being parents to their 2 amazing kiddos! My son in laws are like my own and I am so proud of each of them!

Hi! I’m Jana Smith and this will be my second year as a teacher with Kids Cove. I have 2 boys that have attended for 4 years and my oldest who was a recent Kindergarten graduate here at KCP!. When not spending time outside with my boys, we are attending UGA sports and traveling. Several years ago I started a small side hustle as a stay at home mom and I’m looking forward to a new adventure with your sweet kiddos!

My name is Audrea Ezzell. I have 5 children and a precious granddaughter. This will be my 8th year teaching at Kids Cove. Before coming to Loganville, I lived in Washington Ga and taught there for 4 years. To say I absolutely love what I do is an understatement. I love teaching and watching the kids learn and grow in so many ways! This will be my 4th year in Pre-K and I am so ready to watch your child develop!

MY NAME IS AMANDA MILLER. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE ORIGINALLY FROM VERMONT. THIS WILL BE MY FOURTH YEAR WORKING AT KIDS COVE PRESCHOOL. I'M VERY EXCITED TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE BACK IN THE PRE-K CLASSROOM. AFTER MOVING TO THE 3YR OLD CLASSROOM LAST YEAR. I WILL BE BRIDGING UP WITH SOME OF MY PREVIOUS KIDS! BEFORE MOVING TO GEORGIA I WORKED AT A PREVIOUS CHILDCARE CENTER FOR 9 YEARS IN THE 3'S AND 4'S CLASSROOM. Hello My name is Tiffany Gowan. This September, my husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary! We have 2 amazing kiddos, Bryce(7) and Teagan(5) who both attended Kids Cove Preschool. You may have seen my face before as I was an aid in pre-k and have subbed in many classrooms. This year will be my 1st time as a teacher with the 3's and I couldn't be more excited!

Hello, my name is Samantha DeVore, I am going into my fifth year with kids cove. I have been teaching or assisting in the threes age group for four years and absolutely love being with the threes such a fun age to learn and grow with. My goal is for them to learn as much as we can while having fun! I have been married for ten years. My husband and I share two kiddos together a daughter and a son. We also have a mini golden doodle named Oakley.

My name is Tara Chalmus. I have been at Kids Cove Preschool for almost 9 years. I also attend the Cross of Loganville for 9 years. I enjoy watching a two year old learn and play with other kids in the class. My specialty is potty training and leading the class.
I have one son named Tyler. We enjoy going on walks and playing out in God's creation! I am so excited about every new year and can not wait to work with your child!
Hello, I'm Kaitlyn Weifenbach! I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and have loved teaching preschool for the past four years. I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment where young minds can thrive. I attend church at The Cross and am growing stronger in my faith every day. My Name is April Trammell. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband Tony and I have been married for 11 years. We have been attending The Cross church for 13+ years.
We have a small family farm with pigs, goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and rabbits. I have a love for kids and animals. This will be my first year as a teacher, but my 5th year as a parent of a child who has attended Kids Cove Preschool. I look forward to meeting the families and being a part of Kids Cove Preschool. 
My name is Somer Jennings. I have been with Kids Cove Preschool on and off for about 10 years. I am married and have 2 beautiful kiddos. Both my children have attended Kids Cove their entire Preschool years. My oldest graduated from the Kindergarten program not too long ago!. I have had many rolls here at the school. I taught music, have been an aid to PreK and am now so excited to be joining Kids Cove once again. I will be full time in the 2's classroom! God continues to lead me back to Kids Cove and I can not wait to be apart of the 2's classroom watching these kiddos learn, explore and grow!

I grew up here in Georgia, born and raised. I love spending my free time outdoors with my family, camping, a day on the lake, or just playing in the backyard. This will be my first year with Kids Cove Preschool, but my Third year with 2 year old's. Kids Cove Floater
Hi I'm Delene Holbert. Georgia native. I've been married 12 years, and we have an amazing 10 year old girl. This will be my 2nd year with Kids cove as a full time floater for all the ages. I am looking forward to assisting in each classroom, helping the teachers with tasks throughout the day and filling in as the school's main substitute, I love getting to know the families and each child. I can't wait to work along side of you as parents, teachers and students this year!

My name is Mary Stahnke and this is my fifth year at Kids Cove, and my second year leading chapel. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Curriculum Instruction as well as Technology Instruction. While most of my career has been teaching older elementary students, these youngsters stole me and my heart! I along with my husband Richard have been involved with The Cross for a number of years where I am active with teaching Sunday School, leading small groups and a member of the Care Ministry. Our family is made up of our almost 18 year old daughter, three adult children and two granddaughters. We also have a cat and dog. We love to relax in our pool and travel when afforded the opportunity. I am a Navy Veteran and am active with several Veteran’s groups including the VFW, DAV, The Mission Continues, and WoVeN for women veterans. I am looking forward to a FABULOUS year with all of the children and staff!
