Director: Rachel Davis Co-Director: Amber Cohran

My name is Rachel Davis. I am going on my 9th year as the Director of Kids Cove. I have had over 10 years of teaching experience with Early Childhood as well as Elementary age students. I currently hold my Specialist degree and certification in Early Childhood Education with a focus on curriculum development.
I am blessed to have an amazing husband, three beautiful children, Bella who is 14 and Gabe who is 9, Hannah, who just turned 2 and my two beautiful step daughters, 11 and 7. I love love love working with children and have become very passionate about leading teachers to become better educators within early childhood education.
In addition to directing the preschool, I am also the Cross Kids Children's Director here at The Cross Loganville. I have attended the church for 11 years and I am going on my 7th year as children's director.
It is my goal to provide a safe, exciting, academic, and faith-based environment for all children within the preschool. I believe that learning should not only be fun but purposeful no matter what is being taught. I am honored to have the opportunity to pour into these children, the teachers, and the families each and every day.

My name is Amber Cohran. I am a wife of 19 years and a mother to a daughter who is living her best life on her own,, a son who is a heavy machine operator, and a 10th grader who attends The Bridge of Georgia Private School.
I went to a private Christian school my entire education, graduating from Covenant Christian Academy and love to spend my free days in the sunshine!
I have been with Kids Cove for over 13 years. I have been a teacher for over 15 years, ranging from Pre-K Prep to 1st grade. I was formally the PreK and kindergarten teacher here at Kids Cove Preschool and Primary. I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to work with such an awesome team! I believe the most important foundation of education begins in the early years of a child. Preschool and Primary school is so important developing the love of learning as well as approach the different milestones in every child's life in a fun, exciting and engaging way!

Administrative Assistant: Mary Calderhead

I’m Mary Calderhead. I’m the administrative assistant to Rachel and Amber, as well as for the Children’s Ministry at The Cross.
My husband and I have been married for 24 years, we have three amazing children, and we have attended The Cross Loganville for the past 11 years. This is my 8th year at Kids Cove Preschool. I taught the MMO class for 6 years, and I’m very excited to be joining our administration as their assistant!

My name is Mary Stahnke and this is my sixth year at Kids Cove. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Curriculum Instruction as well as Technology Instruction. While most of my career has been teaching older elementary students, these youngsters stole me and my heart! I along with my husband Richard have been involved with The Cross for a number of years where I am active with teaching Sunday School, leading small groups and a member of the Care Ministry. Our family is made up of our almost 18 year old daughter, three adult children and two granddaughters. We also have a cat and dog. We love to relax in our pool and travel when afforded the opportunity. I am a Navy Veteran and am active with several Veteran’s groups including the VFW, DAV, The Mission Continues, and WoVeN for women veterans. I am looking forward to a FABULOUS year with all of the children and staff!

My name is Brittany Peddlar. I am a lover of Jesus, wife to Robert, and mama of four. I am originally from New York and have called Loganville home for the last 5 years. I have had over eight years of experience as a speech therapist, and have worked with clients through the lifespan (6 months-90s). My favorite things to do are spending time with my family, writing, reading fiction, and playing board games!

Hi! I’m Madison Brasfield, a 28 year old mom of 2 with an amazing husband and our sweet pup Remi. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology that I received from The University of North Georgia in 2019. This will be my first full year at Kids Cove, however I spent half of the previous year with our Pre-K class and loved every second!
We have attended Bethlehem Church since 2017 and I love serving in the youth ministry!
My passion is teaching others about our Savior Jesus and walking kids through all of the amazing stories the Bible has for us as Gods living word! I also am passionate about helping little ones understand more about their very big feelings and emotions. I can’t wait to have a FABULOUS year!!

Hello! My name is Tiffany Gowan. This September, my husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary! We have 2 amazing kiddos, Bryce(7) and Teagan(5) who both attended Kids Cove Preschool. You may have seen my face before as I was an aid in pre-k and have subbed in many classrooms. This year I will be the full time preschool para pro who will be in and out of classrooms helping the teachers and loving on your kiddos!

Hey yall! My name is Krisitn Olach. I have been married for 16 years and a proud mom of 2 boys.. I am an animal lover (wishing I had a big farm). We have a dog and a cat. I am obsessed with cows!! Anything with cows, GIVE IT TO ME! I am a true sunshine-seeker and am happiest near the water. Whether it is relaxing at the beach, spending time at the lake or floating in my pool. I wish summer lasted forever! For the past 12 years i have been a photographer and still have a passion for it. Growing up, my mom ran an in-home daycare and later my parents opened their hearts to foster children. this upbringing inspired me to work with children, I have worked in daycares and most recently i have been a nanny. i am so excited to start at kids cove! it is going to be a great year as Primary School's Para Pro!

Hello, I'm Kaitlyn Weifenbach! I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and have loved teaching for the past four years. I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment where young minds can thrive. I attend church at The Cross and am growing stronger in my faith every day. I’m incredibly excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to a very fun school year!

My name is Lauren Fair. I'm a wife, & mom to three beautiful children-one daughter and two wild boys. I'm a huge animal lover, we have four dogs, two horses, and one kitty. I grew up here in Georgia, born and raised. I love spending my free time outdoors with my family, camping, a day on the lake, or just playing in the backyard. This will be my second year with Kids Cove. I'm looking forward to meeting all of the Kids Cove families, and can't wait to watch your kids learn and grow this school year!

My name is Sonya Shea, I have been married for over 34 years, and have 2 daughters and 3 beautiful granddaughters and our 1st baby boy in the family! My oldest is a special education teacher and my youngest daughter and her husband are enjoying being parents to their 2 amazing kiddos! My son in laws are like my own and I am so proud of each of them!
This is a big year for me personally as it will be my 10th year here at Kids Cove! I taught 3's for 2 years, 6 years in Primary school in the PreK and am so excited that this will be my 3rd year in Kindergarten! I absolutely love working with the kids and getting to know the families. I am excited about being a part of your child's Kindergarten experience!

Hi! I’m Jana Smith and this will be my second year as a teacher with Kids Cove Primary. I have 2 boys that have attended for 4 years and my oldest who was a recent Kindergarten graduate here at KCP!. When not spending time outside with my boys, we are attending UGA sports and traveling. Several years ago I started a small side hustle as a stay at home mom and I’m looking forward to a new adventure with your sweet kiddos!

Pre-K

My name is Audrea Ezzell. I have 5 children and a precious granddaughter. This will be my 9th year teaching at Kids Cove. Before coming to Loganville, I lived in Washington Ga and taught there for 4 years. To say I absolutely love what I do is an understatement. I love teaching and watching the kids learn and grow in so many ways! This will be my 4th year in primary in the Pre-K classroom and I am so ready to watch your child develop!

Hello, my name is Samantha DeVore, I am going into my sixth year with kids cove. I have been teaching or assisting in the threes age group for five years and absolutely loved being with the threes in preschool, however, I am beyond excited to be bridging up to Primary in PreK with most of my current students .PreK is such a fun age to learn and grow with. My goal this year is for each of them to learn as much as we can while having fun getting ready for kindergarten! I have been married for eleven years. My husband and I share two kiddos together, a daughter and a son. We also have a mini golden doodle named Oakley. I am looking forward to this upcoming school year!

My name is Reese Screws. This is my 5th year at Kids Cove. In my free time I love taking pictures and being outside! I am currently going to school for early child hood education and am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to be in a classroom while earning my degree!

Hi, I’m Lauren Luck, I am one of the 3's teachers. I’m a mom of 2 awesome boys, 15 and 4, who both attended Kids Cove. I have a background in ECE and I was a nanny for 4 years. So excited for what this upcoming school year holds!

Hi, my name is Lesley Mallon. This is my 3rd year as a full time teacher here at Kids Cove Preschool. I started 2 years ago as a sub and later moved as an aid in Pre-K part time. I have 2 wonderful boys, one who is a student here at Kids Cove. I'm excited to be in the 3's class this year and can't wait to see all of the kids grow and learn!

Hey! My name is Natalyn Hancock. I have been working with children for about four years, but I have been babysitting and taking care of children since I was younger. I have been working at Kids Cove since March of 2025 as a floating/ teacher assistant. I loved it so much I wanted to stay! This will be my first official year working in the three’s class, and I couldn’t be more excited! I graduated from Loganville High School where I completed the Early Childhood Education program. I learned how to write and create our own lessons plans to teach the Pre-K students. I was also able to intern for a 2nd grade classroom at Loganville Elementary School. I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be able to teach, support and love on your children!

Hello! My name is Valerie Cavenaugh. I am a wife to my husband Keith, mom to two amazing adult daughters, and Nana to four wonderful grandsons. I have been working in early childhood education for more than 15 years in the public school classroom and private preschool. Since
becoming “empty nesters” Keith and I adopted two dogs who bring joy to our home.
I am looking forward to joining the 3's team here at Kids Cove and I’m excited to see the children learn and grow this year!

Hi! My name is Nicole but will also go by Nikki. I love kids and have been working with/teaching them for 5 years. This is my first year at Kids Cove and I’m so excited to teach and play with your littles! I have an amazing husband who made me a mommy! We got married on 12-31-15. Our 6 year old will be 7 in November (2018), a girl who just turned 2 in February (2023) and our last baby girl who will be 1 in October (2024). I am a born again Christian, and our home church is LifePoint Community Church. I am so busy with my kids I barely have free time, but when I do, I love to get pedicures! I am so excited about this upcoming year!

My Name is Tasia Wilmont. This will be my first year teaching with Kids Cove Preschool. I am a wife and a boy mom of 5!
This will be my son’s second year attending preschool here at the Cove, which he enjoys so much!! I have 10+ years in
childcare learning & development. It is truly just a pure passion of mine! So excited & blessed to be apart of the Kids Cove Family & to love on your child!

My Name is April Trammell. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband Tony and I have been married for 11 years. We have been attending The Cross church for 13+ years.
We have a small family farm with pigs, goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and rabbits. I have a love for kids and animals. This will be my first year as a teacher, but my 5th year as a parent of a child who has attended Kids Cove Preschool. I look forward to meeting the families and being a part of Kids Cove Preschool.

Hello, my name is Amanda Israel. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two amazing boys and one spunky 4 year old daughter. My favorite thing is getting to spend time with my family. We love the beach, hiking, camping and enjoying baseball and football games from time to time. This will be my third year teaching at Kids Cove. I am so excited to get to know each of your kids and watching them grow over this next year.

Hey y’all! I’m Antanae or Nae, I’m a wife and mom to 3 amazing kiddos! I LOVE clothes and I LOVE to shop, take pictures and spend time with family! As a former kids cove parent, I loved it so much I didn’t want to say goodbye! I love being one of the MMO teachers! I’m so excited to get to know and love on your kids this year! I love this school and the teachers so very much and I’m hoping you will too!

Hi, I'm Madison Harvard!! I am a dog mom to two of the sweetest pups and married my amazing husband in April! I went to Georgia College and State University and have always had a heart for children! I was born and raised in Georgia, Go Dawgs! I love Jesus, cows, Starbucks, anything pink & shopping! I have always felt led by the Lord to work in an environment where I can pour into children's lives everyday.
